Adam Kant

Trainer Bio

Adam graduated from Rutgers University with a degree in Exercise Science. He is a National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA) Certified Personal Trainer (CPT) and is a Level 1 USA Weightlifting Sport and Performance Coach with over 6 years of health club management experience and several years of training experience. He has had the privilege of working with professional fighters and All-American athletes. In 2012, he opened Intrepid Gym, a place for people striving to get in shape and attain a healthy lifestyle through High Intensity Training (HIT) classes. He is also a graduate of Rutgers University, an avid powerlifter, played basketball at the intercollegiate level in Melbourne, Australia.

He is the creator and founder of the first non-profit rehabilitation organization in the country, Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Volunteers International Inc. (PMRVI), which focuses on creating sustainable rehabilitation clinics in underserved areas. The organization has won several awards including the Global Health Education Consortium (GHEC) Project of the Year Award, along with being published in newspapers, including the Rutgers Focus.

His most recent venture has been creating the first Bootcamp Program for the Bronx Veteran’s Administration (VA). This program is the first in the country designed to help treat those with PTSD and Alzheimer’s through vigorous workouts, pushing the toughest people in the country to their limits.
